I purchased the attached 1953 TD with paint that is not factory original. Does anyone know where this combination came from. I have seen it on other TDs as well as other British cars. A Morgan owner with the same paint job said it is English Primrose Yellow over Earth Brown Fenders. Any info?

Roger,
Is this paint job a similar version of the original "Cream and Crackers" , ivory and brown, seen on the racing MGs from the 30's.
You may want to google this and find out more.

Looking at the phot I donh't thnk that is what IO wold consider Promrose Y ellow. My car is a TF painted in Primrose and it a much "brighter and lighter" yellow.
That photo of the yellow TF is not my car but is close to the color of my car.
That car by the way is an MG TF (1800)replica that was built in Rochester NY in the late 80's. It had a fiberbglass body, a custom built frame and was powered by and MGB 1800 engine with the MGB four speed gearbox. All the style and class of the 50's with the power of an MGB.
