'...the right of the People to keep and bear arms...' sounds pretty clear to me.

I too, cannot for the life of me understand why any law abiding citizen would support being able to NOT defend themselves with a firearm, or any reasonable means necessary to protect their life, or the life of another.

For a criminal, NO law will stop him from carrying or having a firearm - he's going to do it anyway.

WHAT CITIZEN is so ignorant as to believe that we need to pay higher taxes, we need more Barney Franks to guide our ways, and we must have added restrictions on our freedoms?

Good thing we have Nancy Pelosi and the current Congress to save us from these criminals. Once they pass another Bill that says 'no guns', I'm sure all the criminals will be lined up to turn in their guns.
