Wyatt, as a correlary to that article about Washington state and repealing the 9.5 cents a gallon tax on fuel, well they won the skirmish but lost the war. Subsequent tax increases on gas equal 50 cents a gallon. That 9.5 cent increase looks like a bargain now.
Be careful what you wish for.
cstrong that was just a blurb as to what they do....but I still will wish for IJ to continue their crusade, remember, if they(the gov't) can get away with it,..they will raise it to $1.00 or more. Fighting the abusive power Gov't is never to be discouraged....... it is precisely that fight that abuts their power..........I will never understand capitulation to patently obscene power. I give you the state of the Union as my evidence. Always remember we are but a nation of people, and honor is not a prerequsite for citizenship or elected office. BTW...that price increase is not written in stone, start a petition drive and get a proposal or referendum on the ballot to repeal it....
speaking of corallaries....the lost to New London just did the opposite in the states, it strengthend property rights in many states...so the battle is still ongoing, and with mine and your help we will win it.
who knows cstrong......maybe in the future with more property rights wins you may even get to keep more of you stock market winnings......your money IS your property you know.
