The end is in sight

It's been a whirl of activity the last couple of weeks; we were trying to get the car finished by my Dad's birthday June 26th, but it looks like we can realistically finish by July 5th. We got the carpet in, and we'll have the touchup painting done on Friday, buff it out Sunday. The final panel fitting we'll do all next week, along with attaching the lights. Our only snag is the windshield....we didn't order the Triplex from moss early enough to get it by our deadline (they're out of stock) but we'll track one down somewhere I'm sure. We built our rear bumper and license plate holder already.

The car started on the second pull!!!!!!!!

Cam is set, oil pressure fine, timing set, hydraulics bled....and then we drove! Just around the parking lot, but it works. We took it all apart and put it together again...we have amazed ourselves.

The modified pedals are awesome. Plenty of room.

Nice work Mike!! My windshield is also my greatest obstacle to getting on the road. Ive been looking for 9 months for a proper windshield. I also missed Moss's first batch.
