I think they started construction long before the current mess.
I can't upload the link, but folks like Norwegian who have a ship in the yards have canceled the second sister ship.
for the sake of architectural beauty.....where is Das Boot when you need them..???

Look a little top heavy ?? Back in the 60s I went to Europe on what was called an Ocean Liner (when ships sallied NY to Europe and then back) it was the 2nd or third 3rd largest ocean liner at that time and that was only 48,000 tons. looks small to the cruse ships now

I doubt this project was started in a bad economy; only finished. If you got that much invested and that close to finishing you have to plunge forward regardless.
