Hey guys! when i bought my car last may the engine id plate was missing front right. After having a closer look as im stripping the car out the engine seems to looks newish, or has been painted; but looks to me like the black paint from factory finish! I say new but it must be over 10years old as the PO didn't change it. Anyway looking through an old book that came with the car and i found this....
All these things were dated 1996
My question is what does the the word circled on the 2nd photo say? Top Overhead?
so my cylinder head was changed 16 years ago.

I read it as new "top" as in soft top... but that's me.
I like "overhaul" better.
