I've been tempted to honk at them while they're texting to see what happens, but I'd feel real guilty if they had an accident and hurt someone, so, I just stay clear.

Steve, a number of times it's occurred to me to honk at people driving and using a cell phone, but for the reason you state I've never done it.
"Honk if you see someone on a cell phone" would be a good bumper sticker though.

As a Pastafarian I don't have faith in Jesus but even if I did I'd believe that one would be meeting some being that had a pitchfork not a halo.
