Hey I finally have an MGB "take the top down day" in Virginia after a weekend of rain. I'm at me hubby's workplace right now but getting ready to head out and have a great day. Hope all of you do too. Take care now, ya'll hear!

Why IS it that only those of us who grew up in the South start a conversation with "Hey". That's the weather we had yesterday, Naomi, except ours was about 59 degrees and sunny . Went to the car at noon, put the top down, rolled up the windows and turned on the heater about 1/2 way and came back at 5:00 PM . Have fun today.

I don' t about where you live, but around here we have to start our conversation with "Hey!" because the other person is usually either stoned or in a drunken stupor. No point talking to them unless you're pretty sure they're conscious.
The untimely death of young Southern males is often preceded by the words "Hey y'all, watch THIS!" :-)

That was close Joe, but I believe the quote is,
" Hey, hold my beer, and Watch This."

Thats right up there with bikers getting together and comparing "Road Rash scars".

Been a long time since I had a real case of road rash, 1957. When I got up I had 27 places. I swear, everywhere I bent I was skint. I had to get in the bath tub and soak the first batch of bandages off before I could change them. Cracked a rib about 1986, but that only hurt when I laughed or
sneezed. I just stayed somber and picked my nose a couple of weeks and got over it.

Hey Joe, you get the laugh of the day from me. Great comeback from a Southern Gentleman!! By the way, I had a great time today until the rain started about 15 minutes into my ride with the top down. When is summer gonnna be here?

If you don't like the weather when you get here just stick around for 10 minutes, it'll change.

Hey! I'm from Oregon, and that is a common greeting. I do admit to having southern heritage. And in fact, many of the early Oregonians' came from the south.
The new ones come from the south too, south CA.
