Will a 67 B storeaway top fit on a 73 B instead of the fold down top?
Will a 67 B storeaway top fit on a 73 B instead of the fold down top?
It should, I have a stow away on my 75'. Joe
Yes, if you use the stow away frame.
I assume it works the other way as well? A fold down top off a 74 will work on a, in my case 69, with a stow-a-way top?
if by "top" you mean the frame and all, thenyes; any B top should fit any year B.
But "top" often is used to mean only the fabric stuff before it is installed on a frame....and then, no. the type of top must match the type of frame; and there are 3 kinds.

Prestige sells the same top to fit early folding frames and early stow away, but I bet once attached to the header and trimmed to fit, you wouldn't be able to swap them.
I think that there are actually 4 versions but the first is so rare that it is hardly worth considering.
So would this mean that I can use a (for example) 71-75fold-down fabric on a 68-69 fold-down frame? I'm going to be replacing the top fabric and want to keep the zip-down rear window.

Remember if you are going to buy a new top, buy it from Chris Roop. I did and it got to me really fast.

if they are the same "fold down frame"...there are two. One was stock/originally painted grey (the earliest of them, i believe) and the other, the later, was painted black as stock. More info should be discovered....
