Hey All - need some help
Working on the transmission for my 73 B GT. ( 4 speed non OD ) All is in good shape just need to replace the seals. Question is related to Torque specs for the front cover Bolts ( main input shaft.) Need to replace the shims and need the correct coverplate bolt torque to plastigauage the bearing race. Also if there is a known torque for the main input & output shaft bolts and and side cover bolts. - I have all kinds of engine specs but nothing for the transmission. Thanks gang

I don't think the torque figures are critical for most of the items you mentioned. Most of the bolts are 5/16" (1/2" nut), around 12-15 lb. ft. or 3/8" (9/16" nut), around 14-18 lb. ft.
Output shaft flange retaining nut on a non OD transmission is 150 lb. ft.
