MGB: Triplex Decal

I've bought a decal from Martin MacGregor for my windshield... "Triplex Laminated", as I've seen these decals in many pictures of early cars.

The decal is printed on both sides, but it appears to be only paper. No sticky, and it is not backed up by the typical paper backing of a water transfer.

Does anyone have experience with these? Martin has no idea. Do I just dip into water and place on the windshield glass?
