MGB: UFOs and Politics, your theories, observations?

Well, let's see, looks like we've about covered most of the past and present politics, who's at fault for what, who we should blame, and what's wrong with everything.

I posted another thread "Fair Tax" suggesting we consider putting our shoulder to the wheel on something that could benefit The People, and our Country....not a lot of response....? Unfortunate.

Ok, how about the "future" concerning UFOs and rumblings about the current admininstration possibly declassifying reports of what are purported UFO visits? Your thoughts on that.

QUESTION: If announced and confirmed by the government, how will that make you feel?

i read the neal boortz book. thought the idea sounded good. and i allways hoped god made intelligent life some where.

Other governments have had some sort of disclosure recently if I am correct? Didnt Mexico release video of their airforce chasing UFOS?
I say let us know, and let us know now...

How would I feel..... to echo the hero of many on this site Dick Bruce Cheney.... I would feel "liberated"... maybe then some higher life form could show us how to live instead of kill one another.

After following the UFO phenomena all my lifetime, I'd have to say that I think there may be something to it. Too many sightings and events have happened that leave the door wide open to speculate that extra-normal events have happened and are not able to be explained away. If we are being observed by other beings from elsewhere, it is most interesting to me that they have been as benign as they have towards us. Most encounters that I have read about leave an impression that we are just a curiosity to them and not worthy of their engagement ~ either productively or destructively. It seems as tho the Earth is like an aquarium experience for them. Who knows, perhaps that is how our planet and we humans are billed throughout the galaxy? Like a Disneyland attraction.

Since long ago reading Von Daniken's books about the images on the plains of Nazca in south america, I have speculated that someone might have been having fun drawing them from on high with their version of a laser cannon, just for kicks. Somehow, I have been left with an impression that our visitors from outer space do not take us as seriously as we do them. Doesn't mean I think they are a figment of our imagination, just that we are perhaps seen by them as not worthy of cross cultural engagement ~ yet.

And yes, Chuck, I do think I saw something extra normal back in 1961 in NC. I couldn't/can't explain it within the circumstances in which it occurred, but it was definitely memorable.

Nasca Lines are very interesting.. the images are centuries old, yet could only be seen from above. I believe in Hindu texts there are mentions of vimanas? Cave painting etc show strange beings as well. I think there is too much to it, and there is a history of this, this isnt something that sprung up in the Sci- Fi fifties. Obviously the technology to traverse the vastness of space would be something so new and so exciting to us, I think it would be a huge benefit to us. Perhaps they are watching us, and would like to let us into the galactic federation for less of a better term, but are waiting until we evolve to a higher level of consciencness? Looking down at us and our history we have been killing each other since evolution and we have it down to a science now, they think we are too barbaric perhaps? That we need some sort of enlightnement first? I dunno.. just typing as I think..

Have I ever seen one? I saw something extremely weird after my band played at a bar. Loading up the gear I looked up with the bassit, I say a point of light circular shrink to a fine point and go straight up and away and disappear... he thought it was a satelite... I didnt think so. But I remember thinking holy crap what was that... it was there, as a semi large cirlce and went straight up, extremely fast to a fine point and it was gone..

Was it natural phenomena, maybe.. but it was definately.. weird.

I wonder how disclosure would come? greys surrounding Obama like a National Enquirer cover? have we been conditioned to accept this through movies and pop culture?

This makes a lot more sense than a "God" sitting up in a throne somewhere IMO The bottom line is we were made by the aliens to mine gold because the ape men here couldn't do the job. As for the abductions now, it could be they are doing it again to bring us up to a new level. I have always thought 2001 said it best "they" who were represented by the obelisk made us from the ape men and when we were advanced enough to uncover the obelisk on the moon they sent out a signal and the "star baby" at the end was the next step. I think we have been indoctrinated enough to handle it if they returned. I think our real history is a hell of a lot more interesting than we have been told. There has been a recalculation of when the exodus happened and now it is thought to be 3500 years which coincides with the orbit of Niburu. Who knows maybe Niburu is coming back in 2012........Now THAT would be interesting!

Why is some backwoods redneck always abducted in the middle of nowhere and anally probed? Why don't they visit New Orleans during Mardi Gras, or even go to the beach and learn to surf?

First it isn't just " backwoods rednecks" being abducted and maybe they are afraid of us and wouldn't think it would be a good idea to land in the middle of a crowd. You don't se a rapist grabbing someone in a crowd either do you?
