License plate thread made me think. Here in SC no front plate is required and I thought I might get one of the longer, narrower style.

Anyone know of a source for these black on white plates? Seems like there was a discussion a while back, but I can't find any info on it now.

Well, I could get one made up and sent over to you from here, if you want!

Jon....try this site. You'll fine a vast selection of all types of plates. I got mine here a couple of years ago and it's held up very well. Good quality reflective plate that looks very authentic and you choose what you want on it....

I got a bunch of them off E-Bay for next to nothing. Some are older and a little beat up. I think I still have some of them around. I'll check tonight.

If I can round up a decent one, you are welcome to it for the cost of shipping.

www.autoplates.com (custom engraving company) is where I got mine. Not cheap, about $40 I think, but neat web site. You can pick from a lot of backgrounds and letter colors.

I had a friend of mine ship one over from England. He got it out of a junkyard over there. It is far from perfect, but it is one of the raised letter types. It looks pretty cool on the B. I had to fab up a couple of pieces to have the plate sit vertical on the bumper.
