I ran across a couple of wires coming out of the loom above the radiator reservoir tank. 2 green that splice together and another green with a black stripe. They seem to have gone to something but at the present time they just have spade type connecters and aren’t going to anything I can tell. Do you guys know what they might be for? Also does the reservoir suppose to have some type of insulator material between the metal straps and the brass tank????

Is the windshield washer pump wired? That's in the general area.
Dave
Swamper,
Yep, that's definitely the windshield washer pump wiring. I've confirmed the wire colors on my wiring diagram (green - power, light green with black trace - ground). BTW, the second green wire coming off the spade provides power to the carb cooling fan.

Sounds right but somebody has put the washer stuff over on the drivers side up by the front of the air cleaner intake. I'm finding these wires on the passenger side by the coolant tank.
Hi Swamper,
Sounds like someone has wired the washer pump to the carb cooling fan wiring. Does the washer pump work?
The washer pump is supposed to be on the passenger's side, above the coolant tank.
Bill
Washer pump was just hanging loose over on the drivers side up by the carb cooling fan on the back side of the bulkhead for the radiator. By the way, are most of you guys keeping the carb cooling fan on the cars and using them. I plan to ceramic coat the exhaust and leaving the stock set up at this point.

I took the cooling fan out and relocated the horns to the side in order to give a little better airflow through the radiator.
