There have been several posts lately about rims and earlier someone posted a list of other cars whose rims might fit. For those out there who don't care for wire rims and don't want the minilites, here's an updated list of cars which have the 4 on 4.5 spacing. I took the list that was posted earlier and worked my way through the junkyard using a front hub off of a 73 MGB as a tester. Also I got a space saver spare from a Mitsubishi that fit on an MG hub. Unfortunately, the car model and year was unrecognizable.
If you choose to go this route, don't forget to check your offset. Flip the rim over so that the side that normally faces out from the car is lying face down on the ground. Measure the distance from the surface that is bolted to the car's hub to the top of rim. That distance should be 4.5 inches.
MGB 4 on 4-1/2 (114.3 mm) 28 mm positive offset
Acura - Legend '86-'89
Buick - Special '61-'63
Chevrolet
Sprint '85-'87
Datsun/Nissan - most models to '89
Dodge Colt '79-'88
Dodge Colt (early)
SAAB - 900 to '87
Toyota - most except MR2 and P.U. to '89
