Sounds like a fair price for a rust free car of that year.
Skye
if you go to
http://www.nadaguides.com/ValuesHome.html,
in the web site there is a section for imported vehicles. that section gives the fair values of vehicles... and from what i read, it is an average $$$ amount he is quoting you..
I have to go along with Skye. In reality the car is worth whatever it is worth to YOU. It's not hard to dump 6 Gs into a car to make it nice and you are usually better off buying one ready to go than to rebuild it yourself. Unless, of course, you're a bone motorhead and too pickey about every aspect of your car to let anyone have ever done anything to it, like me.
Thanks for the help guys.Jason thanks for the NADA site. I'm going to offer this guy $4k and see what happens...now where to store it? Good problem to have.
Is it a chrome bumper or rubber?
I ask because mine is chrome and 74 was the year that they had both. Enjoy!
I stored mine under a Tyvec cover for over a year untill I could restore my clapped out old garage.
