Where do I get valve stem seals???

Moss doesn't list one for the 1500, that I can see. They do show one for the 1275, etc...

VB doesnt' list them either. Are you sure the 1500's had them?

I do see it named as a valve collar in the part list for mossmotors website.. Thats where they seat the valve am i correct?? ITs just a rubber ring???

1500 engines do not have valve stem seals

I can't say I real fond of the Triumph/MG 1300/1500 valve arrangement as far as how everything goes together valve spring wise on the top of the head, where the A series engine valve springs sit in pockets in the head, the Triumph motor's valve springs sit on a flat surface on the top of the head, the guide diameter is extra chunky, so without mods with a dual valve spring arrangement there is no room for a valve seal, you can mod the guide, by turning down the diameter on the top side and then installing a proper posi valve seal, I like the 1500 motor, but this is one things that could have been designed better on this engine.
