VIRUS WARNING

WARNING:

There is a new virus out with the code name Work.

If you receive Work from your colleagues, your boss, via e-mail or anywhere else, do not touch Work under any circumstances. This virus wipes out your private life completely.

If you should come into contact with this virus, put on your coat and > take two good friends and go straight to the nearest bar. Order three beers and after repeating that 10 times, you will find that Work has been completely deleted from your brain.

Forward this warning immediately to at least 5 friends. Should you realize that you do not have 5 friends, this means that you are already infected by this virus and Work already controls your whole life.

This virus is deadly. Please pay close attention to it and take heed.

I wish people would take the time to do some basic research before sending hoax virus warnings out.

Dan....Apparently you just got introduced to Steven's dry sense of humor, welcome!....those of us who know him understand he was having fun...you see, he left out one important part of the hoax message "This virus warning is genuine." And, those of us who know him know he paraphrased the hoax text to allow us to laugh at ourselves....I mean, look at his signature "Regional Health Authority Steven K." & if you know Steven, you know he's in one of his moods & was up late last night down in Houston playing with his computer!

....oh, never underestimate the power of Steven's computer either.....he & I share some secrets from the dark side that - were we to reveal them to you - would mean we'd have to have the 'cleaners' visit after we left....

Oh man, after I read my post I was wondering what made me so grumpy this am....! Also, I received another hoax warning message from my mother last night so....! Apologies proffered profusely! Off for more coffee......

Dam - I knew there was something wrong here - turns out this computer has been infected for years!

I wonder if the 10 beers taken before infection could prevent it??

I wished I'd have checked the BBS before I left at 5:00 to go 110 miles up country and do a job. I wouldn't have had to go if I'd have just read the warning.
But, I got to follow a Maserati convertible back to town at 90+ on the interstate.
