MGB: Wanted: Leather Strap for Bonnect release

The leather strap that attaches to the bonnet release lever on my GT just broke. Does anyone have an intact one?

I was not aware that this was a stock item on any MGB/MGC.

You could probably make one easy enough...

I was thinking the same thing. Not something I've ever seen.

Here are two photos of what I am referring to. It is a great solution, makes it MUCH easier to open the bonnet. I suppose I'll have to bring it to a tack shop and see what they can do.
