MGB: War in Western Europe imminent.

Today the UK Conservative Party announced a popular vote on the future of the UK in Europe was no longer possible; the opportunity to secede from the European Union Government through democratic means is passed. When denied democratic process the only alternative is civil disobedience and/or violent insurrection. Under the terms of the new European Constitution this amounts to the same thing, as civil disobedience can be met with imprisonment without trial and summary execution.

I declare that I do not recognize the European Union Government, it's laws, institutions and customs. I pledge to resist all European Government influence, whatever it may be, until we are free once more.

I understand and accept that this will put myself and my family under mortal danger.

God save the Queen.

Jay, now that one cause me to think differently. I would suspect that we will no that answer in about 20 years. That ought to be long enough to get total control of their population and energy by outsiders. They will be wearing the fur hats.

The EU is the country that would go to war. It is now a nation state.

How? I'm not disagreeing with the sentiment, thats up to the individual of course, but how to resist if you want to?

And will it make such a difference - to me, whether is beurocrats in the UK, or beurocrats in Europe, they are all the same self serving bunch, and we are all the same downtrodden mass.

You UK guys gov't hasn't even bought into the euro. You Scots haven't even bought into the UK. The celts of the world haven't even bought into anything other than really white girls with freckles and pagan ceremony. WTF....you're already at a cultural revolution...just kick it in gear!

As regards the comment from Tyler about us all being disarmed - I really don't think this has relevance any more. Two main reasons for this I guess, 1. I do not think a side-arm would be so effective against an army/airforce/navy. 2. You guys in the USA are armed to the teeth. You all appear to be very pissed off with the government. Thankfully, you are not shooting the government up yet, so whats the point of all the firepower under the stairs- you also have a rather well trained army, and to my mind in this sense your home amroury is about as much good as a pea shooter. History shows us that for a revolt, peaceful or armed, to be successful, the army must first join the people, then whether or not the people are armed is an irrelevance.

Think of the home armory like nuclear weapons during the cold war. Neither side wants to take a chance and use one, the escalation would wipe out the country.

You seem to forget that our Nation was founded by a rag tag bunch of armed farmers who took on the regimental King's Army via a lot of gurilla (sp?) war fare. Not unlike the Viet Cong and the Afgans in modern history.
