This seems like a really simple question, but which way should one turn the mixture screw on the weber downdraft to lean the mixture? My instinct says counter-clockwise would lean it by allowing more air to flow through the bypass circuit.

Also, are there any internet resources for fine tuning the weber?

To set idel mixture turn in or clockwise til the engine starts to stumble the back it out till she smooths up. To set your run mixtures you have to change out jets and emultion tubes.
