Well.......!!

I got most of my parts back, the head is ported and polished, but not assembled!! Man!! does it look better!! Flywheel resurfaced, everything balanced, but the crank still needs to be polished, new rod bolts, reconditioned rods with the press in wrist pin!! Pistons 30 over, and it looks great!! I don't know, but wish me luck!! Damn it is about time!!
Yesterday some guy took off my mirror as I was beside the road talking on my phone!! His mirror whacked my hand (I guess I had it out the window) There was a big purple mark on it, and it felt like it had been torn off, but it doesn't hurt a bit!! I guess it is fine!! WEIRD!!! I guess he must have cranked the wheel ove as he saw me or felt me and his boat trailer hit my front wheel and scuffed the @!#$ out of the center cap!!! I don't know, but I think I came reeeeeaaaaal close to losing a hand!! Not whining, but I just don't think my luck has been good lately, so I am worried about the engine!! I will be real careful!! but damn!!!!!!

with your luck I'd get someone else to put it together

Speaking of Brit-Tek, I was there on Wednesday and found the gentleman to be very helpful and the prices were somewhat competitive. A good source. I actually broke down and bought the K and N conical shaped filters for the SU's!

Oh Kim!! We are prepared to come!! We bought the Motorhome!! Get ready for the Canuck invasion!!!!! And tell Charles to send me a picture!! Tony is talking about coming here in May now, so that would be great!! (I hope) Apparently we are going to do the Vancouver to Whistler, to Pemberton to Lillooet and back the Fraser canyon run!! (check that on the map, it is the best!!!) That would would make the fall wide open for your garage!! KOOOOL!!! I could probably bring a lot more tools that way too!
