Having issues with installing a new water pump on my GM 3.1L. anyone know where I can buy a bolt package for this project? Or at least what bolts they are?
GM used those starhead bolts that wallow out with the slightest bit of pressure on them and some are frozen in.... so I will need to drill the heads off etc...

That's not something that I've ever run across. Most replacments are either ordered from GM or available from the local auto parts or fastener shop. I'm sure that the thread sizes are all metric on that engine just as they were on my 2.8. It's just get them out, measure each one and then source a replacment. You may be able to find what you need from McMaster-Carr if you can match up the thread pitch, length, and head style. http://www.mcmaster.com/#socket-cap-screws/=4kq07s
If you can find a Fastenal in your area and can get the old bolts out they are a good source
for automotive replacement bolts, plus in the past the cost has been better than anyone else

Hmm, I ordered stainless steel bolt set up for my Rover engine from Alloyboltz.com. At least your GM water pump is bolt issues, I just bought a new one for my engine and they didn't drill the holes correctly causing the locator pins not to fit by just a tad.
