I cleaned out the outside tool closet at my house yesterday and found these things. We never cleaned it out when we bought the house two years ago and probably wouldn't have yesterday except I need to run wiring through there and on to the garage. I'm finally running a new 20 amp circuit to the garage so that I won't keep blowing the breakers to the house and computers every time I fire up the compressor or the welder. And so I can take down the extension cords that lead to the garage door opener. Now I can hang some fluorescent fixtures above the MG.

Anyway my wife and I can't figure out what these two things are.
Anyone know?

Good question Peter, I have never seen a set up such as that. At first it looked like a bad attempt at making an easel.

Could be.......

1). Morgan fender frame templates.

2). Outside tool closet support trusses.

Are they multiplying? Be careful with them, they're starting to look agitated.

Here's my guess.

Lean them against a wall, 6' apart. Lay a 2"x12"x8' across the top. Portable scaffold.

I didn't say I'd trust them. But they might work!

or they could be modern art....

or.....

oh, I got it..... they are conversation pieces!

I'm with Jack, I'm thinking some kind of tent frame.

Put them on E-bay. Some fool wil start a bidding war. Especially if your ad says something like, "there's a knot on one of them that looks like the Virgin Mary when the evening sun hits it just right."

....whoo...a bunch of good laffs....I like monte's firewood guess... for 500 Alex....

Monte's guess sounds right to me - portable, temporary scaffold bases.

I'll stick with my first guess. The more I look, the more I like the idea.

Actually, it looks like an over-engineered one of these....................old fashioned clothes dryer.
You know I'm right.

I don't associate Michigan with tobacco growing. Maybe I'm wrong. Where are you located, Stephen.

I think they are the human version of a hamster ball or cage. Look how many people have been entertained and occupied since Peter posted them. Aliens put them there to distract us from their REAL plan...

...to kidnap Peter for experimentation. Run Peter!
