Since discovering this web site over the Christmas Holiday, I have enjoyed reading about the various technical issues that you lads have been writing about.
However, I have to say that I bought my "B" to have fun in, and today, for the first time since Christmas, we had a glorious sunny day in merry old England and I took the old girl out for a spin through the English countryside and it was bloody marvelous. Any "B" lovers planning a trip here will be welcome to join me!

I had mine out today, top-down, mid-January, Omaha, NE. Go figure!! Winter's been great (so far). True, they are fun to drive, but ya gotta love figuring out what to work on next, looking thru all the catalogs, and then waiting for that big parts order to arrive. Now that's what it's REALLY all about!

The reality is that mine is still a year off being on the road, but everytime I get a chance to work on it it's great. Looking thru the parts catalogues, and figuring what I need is great, reading different tips right here and on other websites is great, just getting ready for the next part of the project. It's all fun, compared to building houses!!! But it would be great to have it on the road today. I live close to Victoia B.C., and the weather is great, flowers are blooming. Half the time now I just have a T-shirt on. I can't believe how many flowers are already in bloom!!

I know what you mean Keith. I had mine out the day after Christmas and on New Years day. First time, South into the flatlands for about 60 miles, finished up at 80 MPH the last 15 miles on I-55. Second time, North, hills and curves all the way, it was a blast. Each time when I got back I jumped on my BMW R100R and took off again. Unlike most of the other guys, all I've done is crank 'em up and go since last Summer. Crumby day today. I didn't wake up 'till 10:00 AM, played with this magic box and cleaned up my trophies.
