Check the site below. I think the picture shows the editor leaning on an MGC. It is the silver one on your left.
MGC
Was to be the successor to the B. Same basic body, but totally redesigned front suspension with tube shocks, bigger brakes, torsion bars, welded in crossmember. The big kicker is the engine was changed to a 2912 cc inline six, rated around 150 hp.
The real problem was the big six added about 250 lbs to the front end which didn't help the handling any. The easiest visual change is 15" wheels and a bulge in the hood to clear the front of the engine and the front carb.
The reviewers at the time gave it a bad report because of the handleing ( tendency to oversteer), but its actually quite a good tourer, and modern wheels and tires help the handling quite a bit.

'69 CGT added to the stable in August.
The MGC and MGC-Gt were limited runs that hit the US market in the late 60s. As discussed in previous post, they had a heavy cast iron straight 6 motor that caused a bulge in the bonnet. Anyone that owns one will tell you that they don't drive or handle like a normal b. A fellow in Mt Sterling, Ky has a 69 MGC-GT for sale. You would think these cars would be worth lots of money due to their rarity. They may, eventually be a good investment. Obviously, they will obtain a high speed over 125mph without much effort. As an MGC owner will tell you, don't expect sportscar handling. Tom B may tell you that he wouldn't have one if you put it in his driveway. Time will tell whether this rare mg is worth buying.
It was good enough for Prince Charles to buy one. The hard thing I would think is getting spares. If you don't go racing every weekend, who would care about a hair off on the steering? Adds to the drama, eh?
