I have seen this thread on here before ... but I thought I would ask again as now I am looking to name my little blue beauty ... what do you call your machine?

Brendon,
My (in Pieces) 72B is called Bonnie and as can be seen on here, on occassions, she has her opinion on just about everything.
I named my A "Miss Scarlet" because of her color (can you imagine a red MG? :) in spite of my fears that she would take on the characteristics of another famously self absorbed and needy movie character of the same name. Luckily so far she has been the total opposite, bless her heart. My B got saddled prematurely with "Pandora" because I assumed when I got her as a rolling carcass that as soon as I opened her up and got into it, it would be a nightmare. Turned out the only problems I encountered were of my own making, but she's stuck with that name now!
Maggie. Previous Bs were Abby and Hoover. The first two names are pretty obvious. Hoover sucked, at least when I got him.
Me too. Well actually it's Margaret, but her friends call her Maggie.
No matter what I call it, it nevers answers back. So I "refer" to it as "the MG".
So far, the wife calls my 70 B, "the money pit". I haven't named it yet. During college I called my '78 midget "The Antichrist" after seeing the movie, "The Gods Must Be Crazy".
Mine's just "The Car", as in "Are you out there working on the car again?" or "What are you doing to the car now?"
Trent
When working on it recently it has been called " You @^%*ing piece of no good $%*^, !@$#&^( smoking rotbox" Then its usually told to go die some where in peace. 10 minutes later usually out there building up to yelling at it again
I haven't named the red car yet, but the white car is nationally known as Ol' Rusty
I named my beloved MG Coca. I called my old Audi Jade, and I'm going to miss her dearly when she finnaly sells. (Anyone interested in an A4?) Make sure you think carefully and find a name you like, there's nothing better than "introducing" your car to others :-)
Just M.G.
Just saying M.G. still brings back fun childhood memories of riding in my father's GT. :-)
Those great memories are the main reason I own one today. Although you'd never know it as it's been in the shop for a blue moon!
When I got my plates they read JNL followed by some numbers so I named it Janelle but my friends said it stood for Jim's New Love.
"Kermit" - after two or three people said it was "Kermit the Frog Green" the name just sorta stuck. And, yes, I know Jim Henson's Kermit was a lighter green......
My MG remains nameless, but I always refer to the car as "her".
Cops always refer to nameless women as "Jane Doe"... maybe that'll stick.
