Has anyone heard how Skye's restoration project is going? I've seen him online through ICQ but I don't have that so I can't ask him.

Just curious.

For pure horror you can't beat going down the wrong street in lovely Newark NJ.

Was driving my bosses car to pick him and his wife up from the airport. Made a wrong turn someplace, ended up in the worst part of Newark. While I was stupidly stopped at a red light someone rear ended me... not hard just a tap. In my naivety I was about to jump out of the car and give the idiot hell (OK I was 18 and the stupidty was raging!) when my boss told me to get back in the car and run the red light. I did it... found out later that the bumper tap was scam used by car jackers to get you of the car, rob you, and take your vehicle.

I was on vacation in South Beach, Miami and friends wanted to go to "Little Havana" - we took a wrong turn and were stopped by a guy driving a cement truck who told us to "turn around immediately, do not go any further" - we thanked him profusely and did as he suggested!

P.S. - this was not in Little Havana - you are safe there!

John, 'worst part of Newark' is redundant!! That assumes there is a 'less worse' part, and that doesn't really exist.....

Hopefully he's just busy putting his car back together! I just started posting around March of this year and have never seen him participate, though in doing searches it seems like he used to post quite often.

The site has gathered such a large knowledge base I would hate for him to lose interest and it all go away!

You guys are a great group and have been invaluable during my rebuild.

Thanks Skye for creating this site wherever you are!
