OK for several months, when I first bought it teh Grand Am had an occasional clunk when accelerating. despite several checks, including jacking the car up, I never found the source. Driving to work today, I realised I have not heard it for some time. Now I am starting to wonder what has fallen off?

Besides the usual assortment of "old car noises" we suddenly heard a clunk on acceleration in our 72 Charger last weekend....rear end or trunk area - couldn't really tell. To our relief, it was only the folding chairs hitting the wheel wells... Whew... Hopefully it's something like that??
;)
