this may be the FM signal switches...like the garage door openers...only one switch for each function.

The appearance is similar to the American street-rod. These people seem to do magic when it comes to wiring, but it is usually skillful routing that hides it from the public eye. Their aim seems to be one of conveying the impression that a street rod is a mechanical beast, not an electrical one. Nice car!!

Probably pulled the fuse-block and associated wiring to behind the dash (out of the weather).

would be my guess too. probably ran the headlight looms and other stuff above the fenders.

That car is the creation of Ted Lathrop of FastCars, Inc in Wayland, Michigan.

Very well thought out.

BTW...those are Pieces of Eight struts that support the bonnet.
