A guy at my school had one in his dodge ram. It sounded like a vintage horn but seemed kinda out of place....I wonder why.
I had the aooga horn on my '65 Ranchero. A bit more appropriate.
I currently have the "Bad Boy" horn on my B. (scroll down on the link) I like it. It's louder then stock. They're currently on sale and I'm thinking of picking up another one. Hey, the wiring is there, ready to go.
And then there's the musical, animal, 64 sounds horn on the Scion. :)
I was looking for a louder horn, myself, so I also installed one of those "Bad Boy" horns.
It wires directly into the horn wiring with no extra problems unlike an air horn. Took about five minutes. Unfortunately, it's not a whole lot louder than the horns I had on the car, so I'm a big disappointed.
I was looking for semi-trailer or even TRAIN loudness to get the attention of idiots in SUV's who are chatting away on their cell phone as they drift into my lane.
I had an idiot woman in an SUV in the left turn lane getting on the freeway next to me who suddenly changed her mind and swerved right almost into me without even noticing I was there -- or even looking like she was sorry when I beeped at her loud and long. There are a million too many bad drivers out there and I need some NOISE to get their attention.
I scavenged Cadillac horns from a junkyard.
Not on yet, but Pete put them on his MGC...no more anemic "toot"!

precisely what I was planning to do.
same wires, hooksups, do it!
Years ago, in a town far away.....My brother went on vacation.
My Dad calls and had bought one of those horns that had 25+ different
sounds. We installed it in my brothers Datsun B-210. Didn't say a word.
A week, week in a half later, my brother came home laughing.
Dad and I used to mess with him all the time. His wife and kids went
to Jamaca. Dad and I put out ALL his Xmas decorations on timers.
In JULY!
For that one, I came home from work and had a tandom load of cow
sh*t in my driveway.
What exactly is the 'Bad Boy' sound?
I'm looking for a more noticeable horn for my B as well.
Would any of these do?

My dad has a horn that makes this sound on his car.
Then again it is original for a model A.
The "Bad Boy" horn isn't anything special. It has a normal horn sound (beep!) and it's supposedly a little louder than a regular horn, but it doesn't seem much louder to me. Of course, I'm old and deaf . . . :)
Shameless plug alert!
Don't forget that extra horn means extra power needed! The switching system for the horns is poor at best. Get a relay system to get the existing horns up to full power, or handle the extra juice for honkier horns, and save wear and tear on the horn push too!
And wherever would I get such a relay switching system? Pray tell. . . .
