Hi everyone,

Im just wondering if there is a quick way to improve the wiper pressure becuase when I drive over 50-60mph they sometimes start. Its only the middle one which lifts up.

Thanks.

Julian

they are spring loaded .. inspect the spring

no spring replacement identified , however they will sell you the whole arm

You can gently bend the whole length of the wiper arm in a very slight arc.

I occasionally spray some wd40 on the hinge of the wiper arm and move the arm away from the windshield and back a few times. If the arm is not binding at the hinge, the spring will pull it tight to the windshield. John

Kathy has the same problem on her LE, but I figure it has to do with age......those springs are gonna get a little loose after being stretched for 30 years. So she is getting new wiper arms and blades for Christmas. And no its not being cheap....all she ever asks for now for Christmas is parts for her car!
