Wives, MGB's, and the Rain... a terrible combination no matter how you look at it.... at least in my case. Wife want's nothing to do with my "Toy".

I used to have that problem, I found all the leaks and fixed them, problem solved.

Aren't you glad we bought the GT instead of the Roadster, just think how wet you would be now

keep that handy 87 cent WalMart emergency poncho in the map pocket...
My wife gets a kick out or riding in the 'b with the top down while it's raining! Just stay over 50 and you only get mildly drenched. She's a keeper.
I too had that problem. I solved it by getting rid of the wife. :)

LOL!! I have one of those!
It's like that old joke: My wife told me it's either her or the car. Dang, I'm gonna miss her.

Yeah, but your aim can improve with practice.
i have a roadster and i just took on a GT project. SOMEDAY when i get the GT everyday-drivable, then i just have to learn to predict the weather and then i won't have that problem. lol
I've got one of those little bitty umbrellas that you get in drinks stashed in the glove box. I'm still waiting for the occasion that I can pull it out and hand it to her. Won't help the rain situation but might, just might get a laugh. That would help.
Got my wife's favorite pair of kaki slacks last summer. Those red shop rags are not color safe. She forgave me. She's a keeper.
Rain... I read about that once! Here in Arizona, we only have to worry about that two... maybe three times a year.
My wife loves to put on a pair of big sunglasses, wrap a scarf around her hair and jump in the B for a drive.

My wife's like Ryan's - I'll be looking for a place to pull over under shelter, and she's telling me "just go faster - we won't get wet!" Also a keeper.
:D
It has gotten better. The first time she sat in the B, her only comment was, "What's that smell?" I told her that her daddy should be flogged for sheltering her. ;)
Sometimes I think my wife just keeps me around so I can keep the MGB going for _her_!
The MGB (or MGBs depending on current inventory!) is my main car (hers is the minivan), but she sure does enjoy taking it for a spin when she gets a chance.

Ain't it the truth Steve. Rain, heck when it rains here I put the top up and drive around looking for leaks to seal so it'll stay dry when I wash it!

Yup - only took four years. :D
The solution to wet and whining passengers is to simply point to the small sign that you have affixed to the top of your MG windscreen which reads: "Life jackets Under Seat"!

:D!!!
And the reply:
"Please don't breathe so much, it fogs the windshield."
