Alan... is it true that when you hit wet grass... you actually come back onto the track faster than when you left???

I know when I hit the wet grass at Rockingham ('91) and VIR('06), I never slowed down till the tire wall. Don't even think I changed directions either even when downshifting and turning the wheel.
