Anybody recognize the jack assembly in this photo? I need two, and, being a cheap bastard, all donations accepted! ...or happy to pay (can't believe I said that). Please PM, or email to zedeng@shaw.ca. Thanks, Ralph

Looks like a srandard MGB jack.
Thanks Mark, it looked different than the jack pictured in the Moss catalogue, but maybe it's the angle it's sitting on...I've never seen one up close, but I will make a point of checking now...RZ
there is a pivoting arm that swings out and inserts into the jacking sleeve on the side of the car. I presume at that point you will be able to tell which end goes up and which down.
They work quite well, although you do need a stable ground on which to seat them.
Thanks Mac. I'm hoping to never use it. By the way, do you think carrying that spare tire lump might affect the delicate balance of the car, racing through an off-camber corner? R
Looks like the stock one in the back of my '69 GT. It works as described above.
Ralph,
If it is just a standard factory jack, I believe I have one I'll never use. I'll look for it tomorrow and and if I find it, I'll post a photo.
Cheers
Simon
Good thing you've got a better memory than me, Ralph. Here's the jack in all it's glory:
