is it possible to download a video from youtube and carry/replay it on a hand held like an ipod or something?

thought it would be faster to ask here than search and figure it out myself.

man. a yes or no...but I gotta work!

Boy is it ever raining at Fuji!

still safety car as I type this. Ferrari pitting for "gas".

I shall mark the references. Thankyee

(my grandson...the expert, I tought him all he knew until he passed me, should never have given him the mac+ at age 4(<G>) says that an ipod classic 160 with the kludges you pointed to would work.)

You know, I have a mate who helped invent the modem for cash register terminal use. Tried to give me a 150 bps modem years ago and I demurred. At that point, though I was deep in CPM and interfaces to typesetting software, I could see no point to it. Several years later I beta tested his new companies 1200 bps device. Wow. Fast! Still had no real use for it.

So...innovation.

Bloody inexperienced kids screwing it up for others. First time I have heard Mark Weber say a naughty word on TV... but it was well deserved. Poor bugger!

Mac - I co-wrote the original software now used everywhere for lap scoring race cars and also had one of the first, if not the first electronic Digital Rally Halda - just no funds to pattent either and now some other SOB makes money from them.

The Halda was good too - twin displays that were either independant (Ie set one while using the the other) or have one accumalative miles while the other counted down to the next marker. Switches to calibrate to "official" mile, and a couple of other features.
