Note that these are NOT ordered by rank or preference. If your oil filter stands up instead of hanging, then make sure it has an anti-drainback valve. My personal favorite is the Purolator PureOne L10017 (bypass pressure relief valve 8-11 psi). This will prevent any oil pressure lag at startup, which as we all know is the time when a significant portion of engine wear occurs.
