For anyone attempting to use the factory original square holed box wrench brake adjustment tool one quickly finds that after making the adjustment one can't remove the tool when working on a 1/2 elliptic sprung car since it hits the spring upon removing.
Here is my solution i did a few years back:
If you have access to a acetylene torch heat the end to cherry and flatten each bent end.
Next, heat the middle and bend the smaller unused end out a bit so your fingers don't hit the tire and rim.
You could also instead use a Snap-On brake cyl bleed tool that is open end, but if you have a stubborn adjuster, the closed box wrench works better.
