Well, a little more than a week after pulling the lump, it's back in and running well. I pulled the motor/trans to r&r the clutch, but decided to roll new bearings and do the timing chain as well. Also replaced the oil pressure relief valve and replaced most gaskets and seals. Aside from the enDless cleaning, the actual work was not that difficult. I had help from a neighbor, who is a professional mechanic. It had been years since he worked on an LBC, so he had fun as well. Now its on the cleaning the garage.
