Investigating a shift issue that is suspected to be rooted in the clutch annular release bearing. Also took some pictures of lightened flywheel, clutch and transmission mount.

Motor is back in the bay and mated back up with the transmission housing. Have quite a bit of work to do yet connecting everything else back up.

Head mounted and valves set. Next is attaching the oil pan, flywheel and clutch. Then the assembly is ready for getting dropped into the bay and mated up with the transmission.

Had the old engine torn down but left timing gear, crank and cam in place. Plan of attack: clean and paint block, replace rod bearings and piston rings and have a basic valve job performed on the head by a local machine shop.
