I purchased this car off of e-bay for $1000.00. It had been sitting outside in the great rainy Northwest for over 6 years. The paint was so oxidized, that it looked almost pinkish in color. It did come with a aftermarket hardtop though, and the rust isn't bad on the sills. The driver's side floor does need to be replaced though.

Had to redo/rebuild all the brakes, clutch and slave, and do some major electrical diagnostics/repair. Poor car had been neglected and patched together by PO.

After a weekend of buffing, the paint doesn't look too bad for now. Rims cleaned up ok...were almost black with years of gunk. Still need to redo rear brakes as the e-brake does nothing, and the adjusters are frozen. Got all the lights to work, and managed to rebuild the drivers seat as it was like sitting on the floor.

It's been fun, and frustrating at times, but I love this little car.

Things I have done so far.
1. New M/C.
2. Replaced heater valve, and hooked up heater hoses to core.
3. New foams and webbing from driver's side.
4. New Radio Console, shift nob, and boot.
5. New heater controls and knobs
6. New mirrors
7. Used luggage rack from e-bay
8. Used Tonneau cover from e-bay
9. New hazard, headlight switches
10. Used glove box and door from e-bay
