Started looking for idle problem and found my front carb fuel wasnt shutting off and spewing out of the jet. Over flow tube to charcoal filter was partially filling and back flowing into the rear carb. Need new needle and seat or float is funky. While I was waiting for cool down to pull carbs. I decide to work on wiring AC and chase a problem with flasher and turn signal. Removed console and found fuse to hazzard flasher blown. It was 35 amp????on a very small wire. It is a brown wire. I moved something as I turned to pull battery cover and shorted the brown wire to ground. I got a barrel full of Lucas Smoke. Pulled burned wire back until it made junction with large brown wires. They were ok. Anybody got any brown wire?? Dumbazz Present Owner.

Started Car Today

Since I started installation of the Moss AC I haven't started the car.I needed to make sure I had all the clearances since installed the compressor and reintall the alternator, move fan and radiator forward also. It started right up and I noticed an interesting thing. The new electric fan on the AC condenser unit in front of the radiator was spinning like mad with no power on it. I guess I don't need to pur power on it. I haven't connected any AC wiring up yet.Laughing out loud lol.
