All British Car Show Cazenovia 2007

Another Show Held At Lorenzo Park In Cazenovia On August 5th. 2007. The All British Car Show Sponsored By The Local Jaguar Club.

A Very Nice Warm But Not Hot Sunny Day. Turn Out Was Good. And The MG Club Was Well Represented There.

This Time The "B" Took Second Place In Class Of All MGB's.

Good Turnout In Class With Over A Dozen Cars Represented.

June 17th.

Made The Run To Cazenovia, Where The Euro Car Show Takes Place Every Year At Lorenzo State Park.

The Were 185 British Cars On The Show Field.

I Took "First" Place In Class Which Contained About A Dozen Cars From 1970 to 1972.

Nice Day, Had The MG Tent Up...So No Sun Burn This Time.

September 10th. 2006
Wampsville, New York

The Mohican Model A Club Had Their Show Today.
Had A Good Turnout Overall & About Double The Number Of Sports Cars In My Division.
A Lot Of Nice Cars Showed This Year & I Didn't Expect To Place...But The Ole MGB Managed To Take Third Place As It Did Last Year. By My Calcs It Should Have Placed 4th. or 5th. But I'm Not Complaining. The Trophy Was A Mantle Clock With Pillars And A Plaque All Chrome Plated. Nice Piece For The Trophy Case.
Had Four New Car Owners Approach Me Concerning The Club & Where To Start & Go To Improve Their Rides.
I Enjoyed Sharing The Information With Them.

I too was at the Wampsville show. But I was parked with the others that did not pre-register. I'm no judge, but I believe Wayne is being modest when he calculated that he should not have placed. Congrats on a well deserved third place finish.

Pulled the cover & took out the 1972 MGB today. It's maiden run for 2006. Running a little rich. Needs new plugs and Carb's adjusted. Otherwise it ran fairly sweet for its first go. Scheduled for a new gas tank this summer.

Turned my stick shift on the lathe to make it shorter by three inches which makes it more comfortable for the arm to rest on the center console and improve access to the radio. Shifting has not had any significant change. First show scheduled on June 18th. @ Cazenovia. Preliminary show at ESM school On the 10th.
