It was a beautiful weekend so we decided to wash the cars and take them for a spin.

This is my first Journal here at MG Experience so I will make it short.

My Name is Bryan. My father and me own two MGB Limited Editions. Mine is a '79 his is an '80.

Both are in "OK" shape, and both need a little work every now and again.

The story of how we came about them goes back to about the year 2000. My Dad bought his MGB for about $3,000. I was 14 at the time and he would always catch me sitting and pretending to drive it.

Later on my dad is reading the newspaper and spots an ad for another MGB. My dad calls the guy up and asks if it was a Limited Edition like his was. The guy checked and said.. "Yeah, what does that mean anyway?" to which my dad replied "Nothing, I'll be right over!"

So I had my car until I turned 18, when I joined the US Marine Corps. and shipped off to Camp Pendleton CA for four years.

During this time my dad lived in Galveston TX, a very humid place, and the rust started to set in.

My dad had my car painted for me as a "Welcome back from Iraq" present. Since then I have added a new top, new rims, and a Webber Carb.
