The Beginning

In 2003 when we found our 73 MGB in a garage where it sat, unused and poorly stored, for close to 30 years with only 8288 miles on it. The owner had an accident and refused to drive it after it was repaired (very poorly as it turns out). See photo 1 of odometer.

We replaced all of the mechanical seals and bushings, brakes and lines on the car, except the engine. New tires, rims and brakes. Flushed and replace all fluids and replaced a cracked head. Cleaning revealed a Navy Blue not black interior in good shape except for the carpets. Photo 2

Subsequent years saw another cracked head (engine was decked), transmission and O/D reseal. Engine functions started to deteriorate after some 8000 additional miles.

Now has 18,000 miles. Photo 3.

Next step the engine.
