Original "Banjo" Steering Wheel
Created on 2008-06-09 19:03:30
June 7, 2008 - The banjo style steering wheel arrived today from the ebay auction. I was hesitant to bid without knowing the measurements of the center hole splines, but the seller confirmed it was the correct part number from Moss for the early MGB.

Sure enough, the hole was much larger. It took me about five minutes to disassemble the wooden steering wheel and free the adapter from the steering column.

Putting the banjo wheel on was easy and the button push center piece went on with minor adjustment. Now, I just need to drive it some to verify I have it centered on the shaft.

Next up...converting the carburator back to S.U..
