I have received several helpful emails to my question posed about the registration year for my car...thanks for all the information...I am still trying to figure out how to communicate through this website...I love all of the cars and information...
I know my MGB was registered as a 1963 and I believe that makes sense as no one would have registed a "new" MG as a 1962 if it was sold in 1963...the VIN # is G-HN3-L/1984...the date of build was 22-25 October, 1962 according to the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust research...it is still a long way from getting back on the road, but will eventually move out of the garage under its own power again one day...
I will post pictures once I get the technology worked out...
