Leaf Spring Hanger Braces

The leaf spring hangers are just welded to the floor at the corners, so I thought I would reinforce them. This is not totally my idea- I found a similar installation for a 3 link setup shown on this site. I have Solidworks CAD software for use at work, so designing parts is fairly easy. The software will even unfold the sheet metal part to give a flat pattern. I had the parts made at a local sheet metal shop out of 16 gage steel, then punched holes in the flange for spot welds. Then I welded them in place. I did forget to remove the bushings before welding, so I'll be replacing the bushings I melted.
