Left Front Fender
Created on 2008-02-03 17:02:21
Time to start on the front end bodywork. I have patch panels for both sides to replace the piece behind the front wheel from the chrome strip down. Plus the front corner where the marker goes is punched in on the left side. Plus I plan on welding all the fenders in place instead of bolting- to eliminated the body seams. So, here goes.

I cut the rusted pieces out and tack welded in the replacement pieces. I won't finalize the welds til all the panels are in and aligned. Looks like everything fits OK, I will need to do some minor alignment at the doors and the rocker panel. But it does looks like my replacement rocker panel is a little narrow toward the front end and will need some material added to it.
