Trunk Lid Fit
Created on 2008-08-03 18:05:33
The trunk lid also didn't fit quite right- zero gap at one point and non-flush surfaces at a couple more areas. So back with the hammer, grinder and filler. Now it all fits correctly: consistent gaps and all surfaces flush to the adjacent body panels.

Right Front Fender 6   Even though I didn't have to replace the whole right rocker panel, the front area had some damage that had to be patched prior to replacing the fender. The right fender needed repa...
Left Front Fender 6   Time to start on the front end bodywork. I have patch panels for both sides to replace the piece behind the front wheel from the chrome strip down. Plus the front corner where the ...
Fuel Tank Mods Continued 9   I didn't get to work on the car over Christmas, but since I got to spend time with kids home from college, that was OK. Now that everyone is back where they belong, and the world...
Parking Brake 4 2 I have never liked the location of the parking brake lever for three reasons: 1. The interference with the Fiero seats I am installing 2. The cable location in the tu...
Trunk Supports 3   I installed a pair of hydraulic trunk supports to replace the existing trunk support. Like usual I didn't read the instructions first and installed (welded) the new one parallel to...
